Dutch and Company Limited (Dutch & Co.) has been honored with the prestigious C&I Project of the Year award by the African Solar Industry Association (AFSIA). This accolade was presented during the AFSIA Award Gala Reception held at the Mövenpick Hotel & Residences in Nairobi on November 27th 2024.
Dutch & Co. emerged as the winner among three distinguished nominees, recognized for their exceptional work as the PV EPC and O&M contractor for the 16.82 MWp Megawarehouse project in Tema, Ghana. This landmark project, owned by Helios Solar Company Ltd., a subsidiary of the LMI Group of Companies also based in Ghana, stands as Africa’s largest single rooftop solar installation and the second largest in the world.
The Megawarehouse project not only highlights Dutch & Co.’s technical strength but also underscores the growing importance of renewable energy in addressing Africa’s energy needs and of working together with all stakeholders to achieve great results. As the continent continues to embrace sustainable development, Dutch & Co. is poised to play a pivotal role in driving this transformation.
