The Africa Energy Forum (AEF 2024) is a premier platform for collaboration and innovation in Africa’s energy sector. Returning for its 26th year, the event unites key stakeholders, investors, and future leaders. This year’s focus is on “Energy Systems of the Future – Balancing Africa’s Needs with Global Goals.” The forum, held in Barcelona, Spain, covers project developments, technology innovations, cross-sector opportunities, and collaborations

Amongst the many network opportunities, meetings and seminars, representatives from Ghana were able to present the vast investment opportunities in the country’s energy sector. Key participants in this Spotlight on Ghana event were H.E. Honorable Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister of Energy, Ghana, Ebenezer Essienyi, CEO of GRIDCO, Kofi Tutu Agyare, Board Chairman, Volta River Authority, Ismael Ackah, Executive Secretary, Public Utilities Regulatory Commission and Oscar Amonoo-Neizer, Executive Secretary of the Energy Commission.
